    Hot cross buns, hot cross buns, one a penny, two a penny...

    One of the best things about Easter would have to be hot cross buns! I love them.... In fact, whilst I know that it is always a bit nuts to see hot cross buns on sale from January, I think it's great!!!Our bakery makes organic, sourdough hot cross buns which are amazing and a regular in our house this year.     Good-bye summer fruits and hello winter!

    I'm always a little bit sad when summer fruits start to dwindle and new season winter fruits begin to make an appearance. Not just that I love summer fruits - mangos, nectarines, peaches, cherries to name a few - but it is also a sign of the impending cold months and the end of yet another summer.Thank god for plums and figs which make the transition into winter fruits that little bit sweeter!
